January and February are usually our time to take a breath, catch up on admin, and prepare for the year ahead… but not this year!
2026 has kicked off at full speed, and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve loved reconnecting with so many of our wonderful clients and suppliers, as well as welcoming exciting new enquiries for 2026 and 2027 events.
Supplier Connections & Industry Updates – Over January and February, we’ve been involved in a variety of supplier catch‑ups and zoom calls, including:
- Crimson Hotels overview.
- Village webinar.
- Update call with Destination Milton Keynes.
- Updates from Dakota Hotels.
- A meeting with Newbury Racecourse to view the fantastic improvements, including a new hotel and meeting facilities.
- Great Hotels of the World hosted us for a lunch and learn with fellow local agents.
- The Savoy and Raffles sales managers visited the ACE office to update us on their beautiful properties.
- Kate from De Vere Horsley Estate visited the ACE office for a brilliant lunch and learn session.
- A huge thanks to Chrissy from Legacy for a lovely lunch and overview. We’re excited to grow our partnership in 2026.
It’s been fantastic staying up to date with what’s new across the industry.
Hotel Visits, Fam Trips and Industry Events – We’ve been out and about, meeting lots of our suppliers in person, something we always enjoy!
- Our Valor account manager Kelsey treated us to a coffee catch up before we took part in a reformer Pilates class taught by our very own Danni! We also caught up with Sarah from DoubleTree Leeds. A supplier meeting with a twist!
- We headed to Hilton Birmingham Metropole, where we met with one of our lovely clients onsite and enjoyed a lunch and learn with our Hilton account manager Hayley. We also received overviews from Nicki (Hilton EMA & Hilton Nottingham) and caught up with Ali from Hilton Birmingham Met.
- Jo and Ella visited London to see ABBA Voyage (incredible!), squeezing in showrounds at Great Scotland Yard and St Martin’s Lane while there.
- Jo attended a fam trip at Valliant Live to explore this exciting new venue. The spaces were impressive, and we can’t wait to collaborate in the future.
- Our Radisson account manager Kaarin hosted us for a lovely overview session, sharing exciting updates and new openings.
- Jo and Ella attended the BEAM Gala Dinner at The Belfry, and we’re incredibly proud that Jo was shortlisted for Agency Leader of the Year. She inspires us daily!
- Ella attended the brilliant CHS Independent Roadshow event at Burleigh Court, meeting over 20 hotels and venues in one afternoon was perfect for knowledge building and strengthening supplier relationships.
- Ella and Jo attended a Famtastic Lunch at Voco Leicester, followed by a showround at Leicester tigers, this was another great supplier-focused session and enjoyed exploring the venue.
- We visited the Park Regis to visit one of our new clients, thank you to the team for looking after us so well!
- We went back to The Belfry to have a showround of their beautiful new masters suite with one of our lovely clients for a potential 2027 event.
- Jo attended the first East Midlands Elite meeting of the year at the Space Centre. We’re honoured to be involved in helping organise the 2026 charity event in support of Maggie’s Nottingham, an incredible organisation offering vital cancer support.
Looking Ahead
This week, Jo is heading to Stockholm for the Meeting Space event. We can’t wait to hear all about the new connections and opportunities she brings back.
