East Midlands Elite – Charity Event at Radisson EMA
The evening was a remarkable celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the power of collective effort from members of East Midlands Elite Group. We are thrilled to announce that over £15,000 was raised for the East Midlands Air Ambulance Service, a crucial resource providing emergency care and saving countless lives, all without government funding.
The night featured a live auction and silent auction with incredible items, an exciting raffle that kept everyone on their toes, and a feast of delicious food. None of this would have been possible without the amazing sponsors who transformed the venue into a stunning space and the generous donors who contributed raffle prizes. This event was a true testament to the incredible things that can be achieved when a community unites with a shared purpose. The group are already looking forward to their next initiative and continuing this momentum of giving back.
Hilton Birmingham Met Showcase
Jo and Ella had an great evening at the Hilton Met Birmingham Showcase. The event was a true testament to the power of collaboration, with so many companies coming together to create a masterpiece. Protec delivered a stunning stage setup, Luxury Live Music and Mr. & Mrs. Grey provided exceptional entertainment, and Eventologists’ decor was simply on another level. Kudos to Hilton and everyone involved for an outstanding event. Special thanks to Ali for taking such great care of us and our clients. It was wonderful to catch up with clients and hoteliers in the same room and enjoy the evening together. Thank you for a memorable evening.
Site Inspections and Meetings
Jo arranged a last-minute stay at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa over the bank holiday weekend. It was fantastic for her to see the refurbishments and explore the hotel’s variety of meeting rooms. Conveniently situated just 20 minutes from M1 Junction 19, the hotel is easily accessible. Jo also enjoyed some relaxing spa time and a delightful meal at their AA Rosette-awarded restaurant. Having booked this hotel in the past and with a pending event in September for one of our clients, we can confidently recommend it. Thank you to Ross Stewart for your hospitality.
The team recently had the pleasure of visiting Best Western Yew Lodge for lunch and a tour of their newly refurbished facilities. In addition to the refreshed guest rooms, we explored the enhanced conference spaces. The meeting rooms are now equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual (AV) technology, designed to make conferences and events run more smoothly and efficiently. Whether you’re hosting a small meeting or a large-scale event, the new AV setup provides the perfect environment for a seamless experience. Thank you once again to the Yew Lodge team for inviting us to experience these fantastic new offerings.
We enjoyed an evening catching up over dinner with Preferred Hotels, thank you to Mark for organising and inviting Louise from The Grand York and Holly from Old Course Hotel St Andrews to update us on their hotels, it was great to have Sharon from Event Works also join us. Thank you all for the wonderful company!
We have spent the last few weeks building our knowledge further and we have met with several suppliers including, Destinations Unlimited, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi, Hosmark, Lime venues, Focus Hotels and the Exclusive Collection.
Eden Hall
In July, our team enjoyed a rejuvenating away day at Eden Hall Spa. After a busy seven months, we felt it was the perfect time for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. With August being a quieter period for ACE in the office, it was a great opportunity to catch up on work and unwind.
With September upon us, we’re excited to see what the last quarter of the year holds. We have a busy few months ahead including FAM Trips, award evenings and site inspections. Keep an eye out for our next blog to see the updates. Have an ACE month!
