As we wrap up the year with our final blog, we can’t help but reflect on what an incredible and busy end to 2024 it has been! Celebrating our best year since ACE began 11 years ago, we’re ready to relax and enjoy the festive season with family and friends. Here’s to an exciting and already a busy 2025 on the horizon!
An ACE Wedding
If you’ve spotted a new name around here, you’re not mistaken Jade is now Mrs. Robinson! She celebrated a stunning winter wedding on December 8th and is no longer a Wilson. We had a wonderful day marking this special occasion with loved ones.
Team Award
We were honoured to receive a Highly Commended award for “Agency of the Year” at the Famtastic Awards! Thank you to Paula for hosting a great event at Leonardo Hinckley Island. The team are thrilled to receive this award and be recognised in the industry.
A Look Back at Our Year-End Highlights
- A huge thank you to Kelsey from Valor for treating us to a lovely lunch and updating us on all things Valor.
- We had a fantastic showround at the beautifully refurbished Crowne Plaza Stratford, exploring its potential for client events. We are looking forward to recommending this venue for our future client events. Thank you to Clare for hosting us.
- Jo attended the beam event at Kettering Park Hotel and was part of the panel to discuss “T&C’s within the industry”. It was a very worthwhile event and insightful to discuss industry trends.
- Meetings and venue updates were held with Park Regis, Wyboston, Ashorne and Hinckley Island. Exciting things are on the horizon for these venues!
- The team had a great Christmas catch up over a lovely lunch with Kaarin from Radisson hotels.
- Jo attended the East Midlands Elite meeting at Nottingham Belfry. The EME is gathering momentum and have exciting plans in place for 2025.
- Thank you to the MIA for an invite to their connect day at Kettering Park, which was a fabulous day of content and networking opportunities.
Travels and Adventures
- At the beginning of November, Jo explored Dubai and Abu Dubai. A big thank you to Ian Renton for hosting dinner at Ling Ling, Atlantis The Royal, she felt honoured to be invited. The ambiance, flavors, and hospitality made for an unforgettable dining experience. The beautiful setting and views from the restaurant are magical. She also had the privilege of staying in a Palace Suite at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, thanks to Mafalda. This is an experience that seamlessly blended work and pleasure, the suite truly redefines luxury, featuring a dedicated butler and exclusive access to the EP Club Lounge, including champagne breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and cocktails. Plus, the added luxury of exclusive service to the private beach and cabanas. Every moment felt like a VIP experience.
- At the end of November, Jo visited Oxford and had the chance to experience the Leonardo Oxford thanks to Lee and Mercure Hawkwell House thank you to Isabela for your hospitality.
- Ella was invited by Rupi from COOP Live Arena to watch Sam Fender and what an amazing night she had. We were hosted in a private box and had a great showround of the arena! Looking forward to using this venue in the future for client events.
- Ella took in the magic of Berlin’s Christmas markets. Prior to her flight she had a showround at the Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport and enjoyed a lovely stay and showround at the Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport. Thank you to Gill from LGH for arranging!
As we wind down before the office closes for the festive season, we’re so grateful for the amazing moments, milestones, and successes of this year, and we’re excited to see what 2025 has in store.
