It’s been a brilliant few weeks here at ACE, packed with inspiring meetings, exciting events, and unforgettable fam trips. Here’s a round-up of everything we’ve been up to recently — from insightful industry connections to spa-side serenity and everything in between!
Meetings That Matter – We’ve had some fantastic catchups and collaborations lately, both in and out of the office.
- Huge thanks to Jack from Cotswold Water Park, Lizzie from Venues Collection, and Ali from Hilton Birmingham Met for stopping by the ACE office — always a pleasure having you in!
- The team also spent a day working from Nottingham Belfry — a big thank you to Aly for the warm hospitality and a lovely refresher on the hotel.
- A shout-out to Christine from Legacy, Krishna from Edgbaston, Christine from Macdonald, and Gill from LGH for their brilliant Lunch & Learn sessions. These were insightful, engaging, and it was great to hear the latest updates from your properties.
- We also had the pleasure of meeting Hayley, our new Hilton account manager – we are looking forward to working with you more!
- Catch-ups continued with Vikki from Center Parcs, Kelly from RBH, and the team at GOTO Events.
- We have also had some lovely meetings with our amazing clients — always the highlight of our calendar!
Fam Trips & Industry Events
MCOCO – Ella attended the fabulous MCOCO event at Chesford Grange, the event had a great mix of suppliers, ideas, and conversations. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making it such a success!
East Midlands Elite – Jo had a fantastic morning connecting with East Midlands Elite members at Hilton East Midlands Airport, hosted by the lovely Scarlett Dodsworth. It was a thought-provoking session full of great conversation and inspiring ideas during Hilton’s Global Week of Engagement.
Jo visited Carden Park on a personal stay, a peaceful overnight escape complete with a half-day in their stunning spa. The outdoor spa garden, with infinity pools, hot tubs, and fire pits — was the ultimate place to unwind. Add in countryside walks and cosy pub dining, and it was the perfect reset.
Bristol Road Trip – Ella and Jo hit the road for a whirlwind Bristol trip, combining client meetings with venue tours.
We attended the Doubletree Cheltenham Open Day and met with one of our lovely clients, before travelling further south to visit the Aztec Hotel & Spa and then into Bristol for an overnight stay and dinner with our lovely client at the Harbour Hotel. The following day we had a showround at the Habour Hotel and also viewed the M Shed, Clayton Hotel, and Mercure Bristol Grand. Each venue had something unique to offer, and it was a wonderful opportunity to deepen our venue knowledge while spending quality time with clients.
East Midlands Round Table – Jo took part in a brilliant Family Business discussion and networking event — keep an eye out for our feature in the May edition of Insider Magazine!
The Meeting Space – Istanbul
Jo spent an incredible few day in Istanbul thanks to The Meeting Space! We stayed at the luxurious Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus and Ciragan Palace Kempinski — stunning views and top-tier service all around. Huge thanks to Mags Shaw and g20 Turkey Travel for curating such a well-rounded event. A perfect mix of one-to-one meetings, networking, and cultural exploration. Truly reminded us why we love this industry!
Sarova Hotels Fam trip
Thanks to Jenny and Rebecca from Sarova Hotels for this unforgettable Fam trip. It kicked off with drinks at The Bull Hotel, a gorgeous dinner and overnight at The Rembrandt Hotel, followed by an incredible night out at the Royal Albert Hall. The following day we enjoyed an afternoon tea and a horse-drawn carriage ride at Christopher Wren Hotel in sunny Windsor and onto the final stop back to The Bull Hotel for dinner, entertainment, and one last relaxing overnight. Each hotel offered something new — a fab opportunity to explore the Sarova portfolio.
ARC Peak – FAM Trip
Organised by our very own Jo, this countryside escape with ARC Peak was next-level. Thank you to Tom for the amazing hospitality it was great to learn about the growing collection of ARC properties. 24 hours in ARC Peaks included a welcome lunch by a private chef, scenic walks in the Peak district, local beer tasting at Wincle Brewery, evening gin tasting with Forest Distillery and ending with a delicious dinner thanks to the private chef Kara. This trip was a dream for teams looking to blend wellness, creativity, and connection — ideal for corporate getaways or client entertaining.
We’re feeling energized, inspired, and grateful for the amazing people we work with. As always, if you’d like to learn more about any of the venues or events mentioned — or you’re planning your next meeting or escape — we’d love to chat!
Have an ACE few months ahead!
