Summer has officially arrived – and, for once, so has the sunshine here in the UK! We’re thrilled to finally enjoy some blue skies, longer days, and that unmistakable buzz that only summer can bring. It’s been a busy few months, filled with exciting meetings, inspiring events, and plenty of opportunities to deepen our venue knowledge and strengthen industry relationships.
Here’s a quick round-up of what we’ve been up to:
Strengthening Connections
We’ve had the pleasure of meeting with some fantastic partners and suppliers recently. Building strong relationships is a key part of what we do, and these catchups are invaluable for staying updated on the latest offerings, packages, and venue developments. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us:

- Christine from Macdonald Hotels – we enjoyed a delicious lunch and great conversation about Macdonald Hotels.
- Gill from LGH – insightful discussions and LGH updates over a lovely lunch.
- John Swift from Arora – a valuable catch-up full of venue updates.
- Tash from Jockey Club – great to connect and explore future opportunities moving forward.
- Accor – we had a wonderful lunch with several of Accor hotel representatives, gaining insight into exciting offerings, refurbs and hotel updates.
- Paul from Amplified – a productive Zoom session full of ideas and building our knowledge.
- Kelsey from Valor – the team enjoyed a refreshing wellness walk while chatting all things hospitality. The perfect way to keep active alongside work.
- Ross from Daniel Thwaites – we had insightful conversations about their properties and future plans.
- Crieff Hydro Hotels – another great Zoom catch-up full of useful updates.
Event Highlights
We’ve also been on the road attending a series of industry events and client showcases. These experiences give us the chance to see venues in action, meet suppliers face-to-face, and bring back fresh ideas to share with our clients:
- Jo attended the BEAM event at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly.
- Ella attended the Avenue Sales & Doyle Collection London Fam trip at the end of April, where she spent 2 nights at the beautiful Kensington Hotel and also visited The Marylebone. Thank you to Bruno and Niki for being such fab hosts.
- Ella represented us at CHS IVR at The Treehouse in Manchester and followed it up with a full day of site visits, including:

- Jo and Ella popped up to the Radisson EMA to meet with a key client during their event, it is always a pleasure to support.
- We attend the Hilton Fam Fest, which began at the Hilton Birmingham Met and then we travelled to Mythe Farm and Sheepy Meadows which was a fab event in collaboration with Eventurous.
Team Retreat to Crete
Amid the hustle and bustle, we carved out time for a well-deserved team getaway to Crete. It was a fantastic opportunity to recharge, connect as a team, and return home refreshed and inspired. There’s nothing quite like a change of scenery and a bit of sunshine to boost creativity and morale!
